Be a Mentor:

The mentoring component consists of pairing these students with young professionals who have been through the college application process and who can help the students navigate the steps and requirements as they go through it. Our mentors act as catalysts for the students, providing them with individualized support and guidance, allowing each student to fulfill his or her potential and make the leap to college.

How It Works:

  • Two mentors are paired up to help guide one mentee through the academic year (Sept – May)
  • Mentoring take place on Saturdays from 11:45a – 2p
  • Mentors guide their mentee through the academic summer programs application process and/or the college admissions process.

Join the Executive Team:

Help fundraise, teach, organize, publicize, or build MMSF into the life-changing experience for our students and the elite volunteer opportunity for our mentors. The Executive Team consists of four different teams:
  • Fundraising
  • Marketing
  • Operations
  • Program
